Regular use of AC Delco Air Filters for the engine is important for you and your car. Engine air filters block particles that are harmful to the combustion chamber.

AC Delco Air Filters use a resin-impregnated paper filtering media. While the resins assist in maintaining the integrity of the filter paper, the paper securely "traps" airborne solid contaminants like dust, dirt and carbon soot.

Airflow rates vary significantly based on displacement and internal engine design. ACDelco Air Filters are designed to handle the up to 10,000 gallons of air consumed for each gallon of gasoline.

On large-panel elements a corrosion-resistant mesh prevents the filter element from being distorted and inoperative. On radial-flow air filters both an internal and an external mesh screen prevents the filter from collapsing within the air cleaner shell.
